Ooooh, I like them! I have bleeding hearts in the back bank that don’t bloom. I will transplant them to another area this fall. I do miss my cone daisy plants but they attracted a ton of bees and dog is allergic to bees. I have another plant that I don’t know the name of but it has a plume like a big ostrich type feather and they are pink and white. The are getting too shaded so I will have to move them too.
Well, heucheras would be an easy way to get some long lasting color back there (like this one ‘Ginger Ale’ Bleeding heart and columbine are also good perennials for that kind of shady area: great color but doesn’t last particularly long.

Theres two things wrong with growing herbs in a tin bucket. One is Indoors it wont get enough light !!! Secondly drainage, unless you want it dripping on your floor.
Better off buying some of these tin buckets, putting holes in the bottom for drainage and putting it outdoors.
