I admit, I didn't read the packaging and I feel that was a mistake. I spread generous amounts of organic fertilizer over my vegetable garden before the seeds germinated. I've noticed plants have sprouted in areas of less-thick fertilizer. I wonder if the other seeds just haven't come up through the thickness or could the organic fertilizer have killed the seeds.

yes it will burn them up
